Tried out the Paris on the Platte truck for the first time at Civic Center Eats. Two of us had the “Old Country” that included – oh so gouda, fresh moz, chokes, red peppers and olive tapenade on a baguette. On a hot day, the cold sandwich hit the spot – just enough to satisfy and not too much to slow me down (the 90+ weather does that all by itself). My new pal Mark had their version of the Monte Cristo – without the traditional battered dipness, powdered sugar, and jelly – it looked a lot like a ham and cheese sandwich but nonetheless got a positive review from Mark’s taste buds. Also worth noting that the crew in the sky blue bomber had a good rhythm and got our food out fast with a smile – unfortunately not a universal experience amongst all trucks. In sum, if asked I want to revisit Paris on the Platte, I’ll resound “Oui Oui Please!”
