We all know that the nation has fallen in love with Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs and that he’s getting attention from just about everyone in the food scene lately. He’s been spotted chumming around with Chef Ludo and more, and I just got word that he’s going to be featured on this coming Monday night’s episode of The Food Network’s “The Best Thing I Ever Ate” with celebrity chef Susan Feniger.
So, y’all with cable, mark the date on your calendar (Aug 15 at 10p, 9 central) and make your buddies come over to watch with you, just so you have someone to elbow in the ribs while proclaiming loudly “I’ve been eating Biker Jim’s dogs longer than this show has been on the air!” And while you’re at it, revel in some local flavor stomping onto the national food scene. Congrats, Biker Jim! We’re proud of this town’s best schlongmonger! (His self-assigned job title, folks! That, sadly, ain’t my work!!)
Here’s the content of the email from Feniger’s publicity peeps:
On Monday, August 15, celebrity chef Susan Feniger (Top Chef Masters, Border Grill, Susan Feniger’s STREET) will single out Denver’s own Biker Jim’s on “The Best Thing I Ever Ate.” Feniger, who is considered an expert on street food, happened upon Biker Jim’s street stand on a freezing winter night and describes in mouth watering detail the experience on the popular Food Network Show.
Tune in, and come back here and let us know what you think of the show!
