You may not know who Chuck Courter is, but he’s been giving to the food truck community since day one. Chuck, the head honcho over at Team 20 LLC, is the mastermind behind many of your favorite trucks. He built the Biscuit Bus. He built the Quiero Arepas Truck. He built Chicago Louie’s paddy wagon. A member of Chuck’s community, Larry Stephens, recently was injured in a motorcycle accident, and Chuck is throwing a street food party/benefit to help raise some funds to help Larry and his family fend off what will ultimately be staggering medical bills. Traumatic brain injury is not cheap, people.
Gorge on Street Food for A Cause This Saturday Evening
You know you want to eat street food as much as possible anyway, so this time, do it with purpose. Head on out to Parker this Saturday night to partake of some of the best food on four wheels to be had in this town, and know that your dough is going to a good cause. Per an email from Chuck, here’s who’s on board to be serving it up this weekend:
- Mythos
- Slice Truck
- Aloha Steaks
- Applebees
- Brad’s Pit BBQ
- Coaches Scoop
- Pinche Tacos
- Manna From Heaven
- Crazy Good
- Crock Spot
- J’s Lunch Box
- Steuben’s
- Denver Cupcake Truck (maybe! cross your fingers and harass them on facebook!)
Sounds like a helluva party, doesn’t it?! Loosen your belt a few notches, or go all sorts of crazy and find something with an elastic waist, and head on over to Parker Trailer Sales at 8900 S. Brompton Way, Parker 80134 (SW corner of Cottonwood & Parker Rd. – MAP) any time after 4pm on Saturday, September 17, to eat your face off and to support Chuck and his community. Here’s a flyer if you want some more info.
